How much would it cost you to hire…
You’re looking at $500/hr – at least.
Most people with heart concerns see their Cardiologist anywhere from once per quarter to once per week.
But let’s say you’re a busy person, so you’re only able to do the once-per-quarter commitment:
$500/hr x 4 quarters/year = $2000 a year to see a cardiologist.
Now, you’ll also need some nutrition or diet help.
Here, you can go for either:
A) Nutritionist: $1000/month; OR…
B) Registered Dietician: $150/hr
In scenario A, a nutritionist can help you implement a monthly meal plan, make tweaks and adjustments to your diet depending on your goal, etc.
So $1000/month x 12 months a year = $12,000 a year for a nutritionist.
You can try and get away with seeing a dietician once a month.
They’ll give you less specific direction on meals and implementation while providing lots of great information and education.
$150/hr once a month x 12 months = $1,800 a year for a dietician.
Last, but not least, you’ll need help with physical fitness too.
Personal Trainer: $50-$150/hr
You generally see a personal trainer 2-3 times per week for the first 6 weeks, and then once a week after that.
Seeing the cheapest personal trainer, for as little as possible, things would look like…
$50/hr x 2 sessions a week x 6 weeks = $600 for the first 6 weeks of a personal trainer
$50/hr x 1 session a week x 46 remaining weeks in the year = $2,300 for the remainder of the year…
Which is a total of $2,900 for a year of personal training.
Add that all together, and even at the most conservative estimate, it would cost you $6,700 for one year of weight loss training and individualized help.
What I’m hoping to give you on this page is the legacy book of a practicing Cardiologist, who is also a certified personal trainer with thousands of hours studying medical nutrition studies…
